Your holiday apartment for the weekend
We travel shorter and shorter, but more often. In recent years, this travel behaviour has not only affected foreigners, but also Swiss people. Thanks to the good road and rail connections, it is now possible to spend a short weekend in the mountains. You too can escape the summer heat in the valleys for a few relaxing days at over 1900 metres above sea level. From the midlands you can reach our region quickly and comfortably today. From Zurich you can reach the Aletsch Arena in a good 2.5 hours via Furka car transport! From Lucerne and Zug you can even make it in around 2 hours. The Lötschberg base tunnel makes a holiday apartment in the Aletsch Arena an easily accessible home for a weekend in the refreshing mountains. The train ride from Berne to Riederalp takes only about 1.5 hours.
